Tokayev and Putin agreed to strengthen cooperation in the fight against terrorism

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in a conversation with President Vladimir Putin, expressed condolences in connection with the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. The presidents confirmed their intention to intensify anti-terrorism cooperation, reports press service Kremlin.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev “emphasized that he strongly condemns this barbaric crime and asked to convey words of sympathy and support to the families of the victims and wishes for a speedy recovery to the victims.”

The night before the start of the concert at Crocus City Hall, men in camouflage clothing with automatic weapons burst into the shopping center and began shooting at visitors and spectators of the concert. Law enforcement agencies detained 11 people involved in the terrorist attack, as well as four direct perpetrators.
