The US Embassy in Moscow lowered its flag at half-mast on the day of mourning after the terrorist attack in Crocus

The US Embassy in Moscow lowered the flag above the diplomatic mission building on the day of national mourning declared in the Russian Federation on March 24 in connection with the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall.

“As a sign of solidarity with the people of Russia,” the embassy said in a statement, “who are mourning the loss of life as a result of a monstrous terrorist attack.”

The day before, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that the United States “strongly condemns the deadly terrorist attack” and expresses condolences to the families of the victims “and everyone affected by this heinous crime.” He stressed that the United States condemns terrorism “in all its forms.”
