Now he has teamed up with a The Great British Bake Off legend for a brand new Apple TV+ comedy.

Connor will be guest starring alongside Noel Fielding in The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin.

He will be taking on the role of Tommy Silversides with an all-singing rendition of the classic tales of the Highway Men.

Teasing his character, a show synopsis read: “He has got it all. The hair, the back flips, the insane charisma that could charm the tail off a donkey.

“He seems to be the ultimate highwayman – so why is there something unmistakably off about him?”

In The Sun’s exclusive first-look clip, Connor dons a long blonde wig and even flashes viewers with a peek at his bare chest during his over-the-top all-singing and all-dancing performance.

He and his ensemble make their presence known as they burst into a pub with Tommy kicking down the door to make his grand entrance.

The programme is a tongue-in-cheek re-imagination of what life for Dick Turpin and his pals could have really been like.

Bake Off’s Noel takes on the role of leading man Dick in the show and marks his first leading role in a sitcom in a decade.

With Dick as the most famous but least likely of highway robbers, his success becomes mainly defined by his charm, showmanship, and great hair.

Dick will be forced to endure the highs and lows of his missions and endeavours and will even find himself having a close brush with an 18th-century star.

The series also co-stars Hugh Bonneville as Jonathan Wilde, the show will follow Dick Turpin on a slew of absurd and wacky adventures as he tries to outwit conman Jonathan in the hilarious irreverent 18th century tale.

The stellar line-up continues with actress Tamsin Greig, famed for her role in Channel 4 comedy hit Friday Night Dinner, will appear alongside her former co-star Mark Heap.

Comedy heavyweights Asim Chaudhry and Ellie White will also help to tell the fictional tales of Dick Turpin and his illusive ways.

New episodes of The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin drop each week on Friday on Apple TV+.
