Putin: intelligence services should support companies that are subject to sanctions

Putin indicated that the FSB should support companies that are subject to sanctions

President Vladimir Putin at the FSB board emphasized the need to support developing companies in Russia facing sanctions and hostile actions. He noted the importance of helping Russian companies that are actively developing, overcoming obstacles such as illegal sanctions, unfair competition and hostile actions. Putin also emphasized that the FSB must, together with other structures, increase the level of security of the financial system.

The head of state noted that sanctions create temporary problems that require additional efforts and funds to implement large projects. It also extended the sanctions response until the end of 2025.

In response to Western sanctions, the government approved a list of foreign states and territories carrying out unfriendly actions towards Russia. Putin instructed the government to ensure a ban on the import and export of products from these countries, as well as approval of all transactions of Russian companies with representatives of unfriendly states by a government commission.
