Naryshkin: France recognized catastrophic military losses in Ukraine

SVR Director Sergei Naryshkin said that according to incoming information, the French army is showing noticeable concern about the increased number of French people killed in the Ukrainian theater of military operations.

According to Naryshkin, the French Ministry of Armed Forces admitted that there have been no such losses abroad since the war in Algeria.

As an example, Naryshkin cited the strike of the Russian Armed Forces on the temporary deployment point of foreign mercenaries near Kharkov on January 17, which resulted in the death of dozens of French citizens. He noted that since then such attacks have become “the norm in the Ukrainian conflict.”

Earlier, as the press bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation reported, Sergei Naryshkin reported that France has already begun preparations to send a contingent to Ukraine, the initial number of which will be 2 thousand people. He warned that the French military in Ukraine would become a legitimate and priority target for the Russian Armed Forces.
