From art sessions to Halloween parties and live music performances, here are the top six spots to hit this weekend for your weekly dose of entertainment.

Haunted Night: A Pre-Halloween Bash

For horror enthusiasts, Kigali offers a pre-Halloween party on Saturday, October 28. Cocobean, in collaboration with Hottempah Collective, presents ‘Haunted Night,’ a Halloween-themed evening.

DJs Hottempah, June, and Hilda will be spinning tracks from 8 pm till 2 am, with an entrance fee of Rwf10,000. Don your spookiest Halloween costume and join the party.

Boyz II Men Live in Kigali: A musical treat

This Saturday, October 28, the renowned R&B ensemble, Boyz II Men, will grace the stage at BK Arena. Music lovers can look forward to the group’s classic melodies and harmonious ballads in what promises to be a memorable musical experience.

5. FIBA Africa Women Basketball League Qualifiers

From Saturday, October 28, to November 4, all roads lead to LDK Gymnasium for the FIBA Africa Women Basketball League Qualifiers. This week-long basketball event serves as a qualifier for the 2023 FIBA Africa Champions Cup for Women, which will be held in Egypt from December 8-17.

Nine clubs from six countries, including two representatives from Rwanda, will compete. Entrance is Rwf5,000 for VIP and Rwf3,000 for regular tickets.

The Upcoming Diaspora Comedy Show: A Night of Laughter

This Sunday, October 29, the upcoming Diaspora Comedy Show will take place at Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village (KCEV), formerly Camp Kigali. The show will feature comedians from Nigeria, Kenya, and Uganda, including Josh2Funny, Doctall Kingsley, Phronesis, MCA Tricky, and Sundiata.

The lineup of local comedians features Japhet Mazimpaka, the event organizer, along with Michael Sengazi, Babu Joe, and a group of talented University Comedians personally selected by Japhet himself. Entrance fees start at Rwf10,000 for regular tickets, Rwf20,000 for VIP access, and Rwf200,000 for a table of six.
