Furious Celebrity Big Brother fans claim bosses snubbed winner David Potts after he beats ‘more famous’ finalists

CELEBRITY Big Brother fans have accused ITV bosses of snubbing winner David Potts after he beats ‘more famous’ finalists.

The reality star, 30, was crowned champion after five celebrities battled it in Friday night’s highly-anticipated final (March 22).

However, fans quickly observed that the Ibiza Weekender star was not given any time for an interview at the end – unlike his co-stars who placed lower than him.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans shared their views, with one writing: “Congrats to David, who gets his interview on ITV2.”

A second echoed: “Why have all the evictions and eviction interviews on ITV1 then bin the winners interview onto the ITV2 show? Bit tight on David that.”

A third added: “You gave ITV coverage to Colson… but the David WINNER’S interview is on ITV2?!? Make it make sense?!”

David triumphed over Strictly Come Dancing professional Nikita Kuzmin to claim the crown.

He also beat former X Factor judge Louis Walsh, This Morning star Fern Britton, and Corrie favourite Colson Smith.

David was shocked to win the show and told viewers before leaving the house: “I feel shocked, on top of the world, I cannot believe it, I’m feeling slay, I’m ready to take on the day…get me on that runway.”

The star has kept fans entertained throughout his time in the house and has been praised for his matter-of-fact nature and hilarious conversations with Big Brother in the diary room.

His win comes as a surprise as our exclusive poll by The Sun revealed that Louis Walsh was most likely to be crowned the winner.

Nikita Kuzmin got 24.23 per cent of the vote, while Louis secured 28.8 per cent to pip him to the post.

While David landed just 15.34 per cent.

Fellow housemate Bradley Riches was axed one day before the final and was forced to say goodbye to his housemates before leaving out the back door.

Bradley left the House within 24 hours of Marisha Wallace and Zeze Millz being evicted on Tuesday.
