Broadway star Marisha, 38, has now hit back at Coronation Street‘s Colson Smith, after he accused her of scheming her way to win during the latest nominations.

Speaking to The Sun and other publications, Marisha said: “I did not understand that. I don’t know why it’s a bad thing!

“I was like, ‘How can I be a game player in a game?’ How can you be called out for being a game player?

“Everyone was playing the game in their own way, I just said what I was doing.

“Everyone wants to win – nobody wants to be kicked out of the house. We were doing all the things we could to not get nominated and to not lose certain privileges in the house.”

During her time in the house Marisha was involved in a huge bust-up with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

Ekin-Su, 29, was left very upset with Marisha after she picked her in the face-to-face nominations – despite nominating pal Louis Walsh herself.

When asked if she thought the Love Island star may have been slightly overreacting, Marisha replied: “I do think so but we were all in a highly emotional state.

“We’re away from our support systems, away from our families, and you react in certain ways.

“But the next day we made up and it was fine. Sometimes in that environment something like that triggers things from the past but I don’t hold it against her.”
