David Potts, 30, has a completely different life away from the showbiz life as she has a secret twin brother named Matthew.

The engaged father-of-one works as a professional footballer physiotherapist at Huddersfield Town.

His young looking mother was also in tears as she watched her son beat out the likes of Fern Britton and Colson Smith for the top spot.

As the presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best announced the winner, the camera cut to her.

She was visibly emotional as the water streamed down her made-up face as she watched her son depart the house for the last time.

Later when David appeared on Late And Live, his family joined in the fun as they sat in the audience.

They both appeared emotional as he was welcomed back onto the channel that made him famous to a rapturous applause.

Before he made his exit to the cheering crowd and an impressive display of fireworks, he admitted how he was shocked to win the show.

Before leaving the house, he told the viewers: “I feel shocked, on top of the world, I cannot believe it, I’m feeling slay, I’m ready to take on the day…get me on that runway.”

Elsewhere, Fern was the first star of the night to be evicted in fifth place, followed by Louis who finished in fourth.

Coronation Street actor Colson finished third place and the runner-up position was given to Nikita by the public.

This was after Heartstopper actor Bradley Riches was brutally dumped in a tense back-door eviction last night.
